Boise State Athletics Receives Sports Nutrition Grant

BOISE, Idaho – The Boise State Athletic Department has been awarded a $30,000 sports nutrition partnership grant from Dairy West.

Boise State is one of six organizations with which Dairy West has partnered in an effort to educate student-athletes about the importance of fueling for performance while highlighting dairy foods as an optimal fuel choice.

"This grant continues to connect our interdisciplinary approach to developing our student-athletes," Boise State Director of Sports Performance, Olympic Sports Tyler Whitmer said. "Sports nutrition is an integral part of helping to improve our student-athletes physically, mentally and emotionally."
