Dan was honored as the 2023 Idaho Hall of Fame Awardee. Dan's passion for dairy began as a 4-Her when he purchased his own heifer, now he is able to share his love for farming with his family. He said, "We got kids, grandkids and even great-grandkids that come out to the dairy."
"It's been a good life," Dan said when reflecting on his years of farming. While things didn't always go according to plan, he mentioned that those moments turned out to be life lessons to learn and grow from. He said, "Other opportunities that come have gone better because of the ones that didn't work out."
Dan was recognized at the 2023 Dairy West Annual Meeting.
