Dale was honored as the 2023 Utah Hall of Fame Awardee. He grew up on a dairy farm in Farr West, Utah, and he shared that the farm never left him. Currently, Dale is in his 90s and still works on his dairy every day.
In his interview, Dale said, "Everybody asks me 'Why don't you sell, and do what you want to?'" With admiration for his farm and legacy, he shared that his response is "I do what I want to anyway!"
Dale was recognized at the 2023 Dairy West Annual Meeting.
