Congratulations to Steve Ewing, the 2025 Friend of the Industry Award recipient.
For nearly three decades, Steve Ewing has been a steady, trusted presence in Idaho’s dairy community. A lifelong resident of Buell, he joined Jerome Cheese in 1995 and served as a field representative until his retirement in 2022. His work connected him directly with dairy producers across the region, offering guidance, support and friendship built on honesty and respect.
Steve approached his role with a simple philosophy: always tell the truth, work hard and put people first. His dedication often went far beyond the job description. He was known to drop everything to help a dairyman in need and to spend mornings at the local coffee shop listening, learning and fostering community.
Behind his success was the steadfast support of his wife, whose patience and partnership made his long career possible. Steve describes himself as humbled by this recognition, grateful for the relationships he built and thankful for the faith that guided his work each day.
Steve’s integrity, compassion and lifelong commitment to Idaho’s dairy producers embody the spirit of the Friend of the Industry Award. Congratulations again to Steve Ewing for this well-deserved honor.
