
Calling all cheeseburger lovers!
The search for Utah’s best cheeseburger is on. The state’s dairy farmers and beef producers are teaming up to celebrate the incredible cheeseburger scene—and they need your help to find the best of the best.
Whether you’re a casual cheeseburger consumer or a self-proclaimed cheeseburger expert, this is your chance to support Utah restaurants and the local farmers and ranchers behind every great cheeseburger.
How to get involved
- Nominate a cheeseburger (May 15 – June 15): Know a cheeseburger that deserves the spotlight? Submit your favorite—or your own restaurant’s signature cheeseburger—to be part of the competition.
- Vote for your favorites (July 1 – July 31): Once finalists are selected, it’s up to you. Vote daily for your favorite cheeseburgers and help crown Utah’s fan favorite.
- Final judging (August 8 – 14): The top five cheeseburgers will advance to a final round, where a panel of judges will taste and select the official winners.
What’s at stake
Restaurants are competing for a share of $7,000 in total prizes:
- 1st place: $3,000
- 2nd place: $2,000
- 3rd place: $1,000
- People’s choice: $1,000
Cheeseburger criteria
Restaurants across Utah are invited to showcase their best burgers and compete in this statewide celebration of local food.
To qualify, your cheeseburger must:
- Feature a 100% beef patty
- Include cheese
- Be served on a bun or bread product
- Be a regular menu item
Finalists will receive promotional support, including in-restaurant materials and digital assets to encourage customer voting.
