What You’ll Do:

As CEO, you’ll report directly to the Dairy West Board of Directors and be responsible for leading the organization’s strategy, culture, performance and impact. You will work closely with State Commissions and key stakeholders to ensure operational excellence and alignment with checkoff goals. Responsibilities include:

• Strategic Leadership – Set and execute a clear vision that drives consumer trust, builds demand for dairy and strengthens stakeholder partnerships.

• Board Collaboration – Maintain strong relationships with the Board and deliver transparent, timely communication.

• Organizational Culture – Foster an internal culture that reflects Dairy West’s external brand—where values, trust and team empowerment are central.

• Stakeholder Engagement – Build lasting relationships with dairy farmers, processors, government entities, industry organizations and community partners.

• Operational Oversight – Ensure financial stewardship, regulatory compliance and the successful execution of strategic initiatives.

• Public Representation – Act as the lead spokesperson and advocate for Dairy West at local, national and global levels.

You’re a Great Fit If You:

• Have a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) and 15+ years of progressive leadership experience.
• Bring at least five years of senior management experience with a proven ability to lead teams and organizations.
• Are a strategic thinker with exceptional communication skills and a collaborative leadership style.
• Have a strong understanding of industry dynamics—experience in agriculture or dairy is a plus.
• Lead with humility, emotional intelligence and a deep respect for team development and culture-building.
• Are politically savvy without being political—comfortable navigating diverse stakeholder landscapes with diplomacy and clarity.
• Thrive in fast-paced environments and are motivated by mission-driven work.
