Dairy West’s Emerging Leaders Program (formerly the Ambassador Program) is evolving to offer young dairy farmers a more flexible and impactful experience.

Each year, one training session will be hosted in each state, aligned with a Dairy West board meeting when possible. Young dairy farmers from that state will join a half-day training, stay overnight and attend the board meeting the following day to gain first-hand insight into Dairy West’s work and decision-making process.

The program is open to any young dairy farmer interested in leadership, advocacy or wanting to learn more about the work being done on their behalf. Participants are welcome to join each year, making it a valuable opportunity for continued growth and connection.

The goal: To cultivate future dairy leaders and advocates by providing meaningful exposure, networking opportunities and a deeper understanding of the dairy community’s future.
